Responsibilities
- Validate multiple SAS Viya 3.5 services and products through functional, automated, security, installation, migration, and performance testing.
- Work with developers, technical support, and product managers to analyze customer-reported issues and resolve them.
- Run security scans and analyze failures.
- Install and configure testing environments, infrastructure, and continuous deployment infrastructure.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks, tools, and scripts.
- Design and implement test plans, test cases, scenarios, and usage tests.
- Identify risks, issues, and defects throughout the project lifecycle and manage them through closure.
- Debug complex software systems and support code analysis.
Requirements
- Require 2–5 years of experience across software testing disciplines in a product-based software development environment.
- Strong functional testing and code debugging skills are required.
- Expertise in test automation using Java, Selenium or Playwright, and web services.
- Working experience with Linux and knowledge of SQL are required.
- Knowledge of Oracle or PostgreSQL database administration is desirable.
- Knowledge of Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions is desirable.
- Knowledge of security scanning tools such as Sync and ZAP is desirable.
- Knowledge of Java, Shell scripting, or Python for deployment automation is desirable.
- Knowledge of performance testing concepts and systems including authorization, storage, and networking is desirable.
