Base Salary
$125k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship end-to-end product features across the React, Next.js, and TypeScript web application and Python/FastAPI backend.
- Build responsive interfaces for document review, diligence frameworks, report generation, and report editing.
- Design and evolve APIs and data models supporting the application and AI-driven features.
- Integrate LLM-powered document extraction, chat-over-data, and generated-report capabilities into client-facing workflows.
- Work with clients and client-facing teams to understand diligence processes, gather feedback, and improve the product.
- Support client onboarding and integrations, including secure document ingestion and platform configuration.
- Own platform reliability and performance through testing, monitoring, and incident response.
- Drive engineering quality through code reviews, design documentation, and CI/CD, and improve productivity with AI coding assistants and agents.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience building and operating production web applications end to end.
- Strong experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript, including polished, data-rich interfaces.
- Backend experience with Python, APIs and services such as FastAPI, relational databases such as MySQL or Postgres, and asynchronous or background job processing.
- Experience integrating LLM APIs into product features, including prompt design, tool calling, and handling model outputs in user-facing applications.
- Strong product sense and judgment regarding user workflows, usability, and scope trade-offs.
- Ability to work directly with clients and non-technical stakeholders and communicate clearly.
- Ability to work in a lean, fast-moving team across frontend, backend, and AI work and carry features through production.
- Preferred experience in financial services, private markets, asset management, wealth management, or fintech.
- Preferred experience in forward-deployed, solutions, or early-stage product engineering roles with significant client exposure.
- Preferred experience with GCP or Azure, containers, and GitHub Actions or similar tools.
