Base Salary
$135k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship frontend and backend product experiences for the Rewards & Incentives pod.
- Develop high-quality web experiences using React and Python/Django.
- Contribute to entity-relationship modeling, solution architecture, implementation, testing, and iteration.
- Break down product requirements, collaborate on technical approaches, and implement maintainable solutions.
- Partner with product, design, frontend, backend, data science, infrastructure, and machine learning engineers.
- Use AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, and Glean in the engineering workflow.
- Participate in team operating practices, including a gradual on-call shadow rotation after onboarding.
Requirements
- Experience building and shipping software in a production environment.
- Strong frontend fundamentals and modern JavaScript and React experience.
- Experience with a server-side web application language; Python/Django experience is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with SQL and developing across frontend and backend systems.
- At least 2 years of software development experience and demonstrated ability to own projects with increasing independence.
- Ability to break down product requirements and implement maintainable solutions.
- Strong verbal and written collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience with Storybook or other component-driven development practices is a plus.
- Interest in contributing product ideas and perspective, exploring AI tools, and adapting to a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to participate in applicable in-person events and contribute to team culture.
