Base Salary
$100k - $550k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement and measure progress against Magic’s AGI Readiness Policy.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents, including complex breaches.
- Develop strategies to protect AI training and inference processes from threats.
- Design, build, and maintain security tooling for engineering teams through hands-on coding.
- Enhance detection infrastructure and detective and corrective controls.
- Conduct security assessments and red-team exercises to identify vulnerabilities.
- Mitigate supply-chain attack risks through assessments and reduced attack surface.
- Identify additional security gaps and help implement appropriate controls.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call support with assistance from the team.
Requirements
- Significant experience as a technical security leader at a major organization or government agency.
- Strong software engineering skills.
- Experience handling complex security breaches and remediation efforts.
- Ability to develop high-complexity cloud Linux-based exploits.
- Experience architecting zero-trust environments.
- Readiness for 24/7 on-call responsibilities.
- Exceptional personal integrity, accountability, and trustworthiness.
