Responsibilities
- Make key decisions on system design for core catalog and settlement systems.
- Design scalable architectures and develop sustainable services for the Coupang Eats platform.
- Build services using the stated cloud, backend, database, messaging, and container technologies.
- Ensure data consistency and availability to support a strong merchant experience.
- Conduct code and design reviews and promote engineering excellence.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and global team members to deliver growth and solve problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
- 6+ years of coding experience in Java or other object-oriented programming languages.
- 4+ years of experience with distributed systems, database schema design, and data processing.
- Experience designing and building large-scale services and operating them in production.
- Strong problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
