Base Salary
$115k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Initiate, prototype, test, and deliver camera-based vehicle and trailer features.
- Develop and release embedded features for Vehicle Interface Processor, VCU, and other vehicle systems.
- Design and develop embedded software in an Agile environment.
- Analyze, resolve, track, and close software defects.
- Coordinate and participate in architecture, requirements, design, code, and test case reviews.
- Review software change requests, plan implementations, and perform code reviews.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, technical employees, TPMs, program managers, the performance team, and MLOps.
- Manage technical teams with project responsibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of product-development experience in automotive or a related industry.
- Experience developing or leading development of complex camera-based features.
- Significant experience across requirements analysis, systems design, and backend integration.
- Experience with Scrum or Agile software development processes and SCM tools such as GitHub.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills and the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Master's degree in a relevant technical field is preferred.
- Experience with vehicle infotainment systems, vehicle trailering systems, embedded software engineering team leadership, or automotive electronic devices is preferred.
