Responsibilities
- Design high-quality software architecture and execute software development lifecycle tasks.
- Develop clean, efficient software, tools, and applications using programming and scripting.
- Build data models and infrastructure for large-scale data processing and analysis.
- Automate tasks, review and debug code, and perform validation and verification testing.
- Use system monitoring tools and keep software and systems current with new technologies.
- Collaborate with internal teams, business partners, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver medium- to high-complexity initiatives.
- Document development phases and monitor systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer.
- Extensive experience in software development, scripting, and project management.
- Experience with system monitoring tools such as New Relic and automated testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C++, and JavaScript.
- In-depth knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Analytical problem-solving ability and capacity to work independently.
- BSc or BA in Computer Science or a related degree.
- Experience with machine learning algorithms is preferred.
