Responsibilities
- Architect, design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain a scalable managed file transfer platform.
- Design complex infrastructure systems, specifications, upgrades, and technical solutions.
- Support and troubleshoot Axway and IBM secure file transfer applications and related infrastructure.
- Develop automation for deployment, monitoring, validation, and ongoing system maintenance.
- Monitor system performance and capacity and identify configuration issues affecting application environments.
- Act as an escalation point for complex production, application, and system problems, including participation in an on-call rotation.
- Perform application installations, configuration changes, plug-in configuration, migrations, testing, and corrective actions.
- Support cloud security, secrets management, key rotations, risk identification, compliance, and business continuity planning.
- Create and maintain design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational documentation.
- Collaborate with technology, development, vendor, and business teams through Jira, Scrum, and sprint-planning activities.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of technology infrastructure engineering and solutions experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education.
- At least 4 years of experience with Axway Secure Transport.
- At least 4 years of experience with IBM Secure File Gateway.
- At least 3 years of Network Data Mover experience.
- At least 3 years of Python or Shell scripting experience.
- At least 1 year of Regular Expression experience.
- At least 1 year of risk identification and documentation experience.
- Experience with Perl, XML, REST, or JSON API programming.
- Experience with IBM Sterling Secure Proxy.
- Knowledge of WebLogic or WebSphere application servers, Apache HTTP Server, and F5 load balancers or AppViewX.
- Knowledge of monitoring, log monitoring, certificate management, database, networking, firewall, NAS infrastructure, deployment, and application deployment tools.
- An industry-standard technology certification is desired.
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, change-management, and executive communication skills.
- Ability to lead through ambiguity and change, take initiative, identify opportunities, and implement improvements.
