Responsibilities
- Automate redundant tasks across build, test, and deployment pipelines.
- Develop and maintain Python automation and integration scripts.
- Design, configure, optimize, and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, including pipeline-as-code and Groovy scripting.
- Integrate JIRA, Jenkins, Klocwork, and Kubernetes through APIs and custom scripts.
- Manage Kubernetes workloads, monitor resource utilization, and support infrastructure capacity planning.
- Maintain Make/CMake-based build systems and troubleshoot compilation failures.
- Automate Klocwork static-analysis execution and reporting within CI pipelines.
- Automate JIRA ticket creation, updates, tracking, and reporting through JIRA APIs.
- Debug complex issues across build, infrastructure, and integration layers and provide root-cause fixes.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and operations teams to improve tooling and reduce development friction.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, build engineering, or infrastructure automation roles.
- Advanced Python skills for automation, API integration, task scheduling, and infrastructure tooling.
- Advanced Linux knowledge, including filesystems, services, installation, and maintenance using default frameworks.
- Basic Jenkins experience with pipeline creation, job configuration, Groovy scripting, and plugin management.
- Basic Kubernetes experience with deployment management, resource monitoring, and namespace- or pod-level troubleshooting.
- Experience with Make, CMake, or a similar build tool.
- Experience with JIRA project tracking, REST API automation, and workflow configuration.
- Experience integrating and automating a static-analysis tool, including scan execution, results parsing, and reporting.
- Production-grade Python automation experience and a demonstrated record of reducing toil in CI/CD or build environments.
- B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with Docker, Ansible, Terraform, overlay or union filesystems, build artifact management, Bazel, AOSP, Grafana, Hashira, repo tool, Klocwork, Agentic AI, or MCP is preferred.
