Responsibilities
- Build and maintain pay-related features for jobs, worker provisioning, contracts, and integrations.
- Design, implement, and maintain backend services and frontend features using Python, React, and AWS.
- Own the design, scalability, and resilience of critical services.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and deliver robust, high-quality software.
- Collaborate independently and effectively with distributed teams, including established U.S. teams and the Chennai office.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software development experience, including designing, building, and maintaining RESTful web services and working with SQL databases.
- Deep proficiency in Python and experience with a Python web framework such as Django or Flask.
- Strong experience with JavaScript frameworks, specifically React.js.
- Experience with Git or comparable code versioning tools.
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
- Knowledge of SaaS applications, multi-tenant architectures, and DevOps/CI/CD practices.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a large, distributed team.
