Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end technical architecture across ServiceNow, Blue Prism, Sisense, the Task/Facade API, and Optimus.
- Define integration architecture covering data flows, API contracts, middleware patterns, and event or trigger models.
- Produce and govern solution designs, integration playbooks, and architectural decision records.
- Lead technical design sessions with offshore factory teams and external subject-matter experts.
- Review and approve workstream technical designs before build and enforce architecture standards at stage gates.
- Interface with client architecture and infrastructure teams on access, security, data handling, and production deployment requirements.
- Define non-functional requirements including performance, availability, security, data residency, and disaster recovery.
- Identify and mitigate architecture risks, technical debt, and delivery impacts.
- Support environment strategy, release sequencing, rollback design, and technical go/no-go decisions.
- Define safe-use boundaries and review standards for AI-generated code in delivery.
- Build relationships with clients, Operations leadership, delivery teams, and offshore stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of technical architecture or senior engineering experience, including at least five years in systems integration program delivery for banking or financial services.
- Proven end-to-end architecture ownership across multiple integrated platforms rather than a single-platform specialization.
- Deep knowledge of REST and SOAP API design, event-driven architecture, middleware such as MuleSoft or Azure Integration Services, and heterogeneous-system data flows.
- Strong ServiceNow platform architecture and integration experience, including Integration Hub, scripted REST APIs, scoped applications, and enterprise-scale performance considerations.
- Hands-on RPA architecture experience with Blue Prism or an equivalent platform, including object studio patterns, orchestration, exception handling, and systems integration.
- Experience designing architectures for regulated banking environments, including data classification, security zoning, audit trails, and compliance requirements.
- Experience setting technical standards for offshore delivery teams and effectively reviewing their output.
- Strong written communication and ability to create precise architecture documentation for business and technical audiences.
- Preferred experience with Sisense and Optimus or similar bot orchestration frameworks.
- Preferred experience with KYC, AML, Estates, or client lifecycle programs under EU regulatory frameworks.
- Preferred architecture governance experience with design authorities, ADR processes, or technical review boards.
- TOGAF, ArchiMate, AWS, or Azure architecture certification is preferred.
- Experience integrating AI-generated code into enterprise delivery pipelines is preferred.
