Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate core data platform services for seamless data ingestion, modeling, querying, and publishing.
Architect a multi-engine environment prioritizing interoperability, operability, and security.
Drive platform evolution through experimentation and standardization of high-impact solutions.
Establish durable corporate knowledge with strong defaults and comprehensive documentation.
Manage core lakehouse components, including table layout conventions and lifecycle maintenance.
Implement robust ingestion patterns for batch and streaming data with clear SLAs.

6+ years of experience in designing and developing data pipeline automation from API-based sources.
Technical expertise in automation frameworks, data modeling, and ETL processes using SQL, Python, DBT, or Apache Airflow.
Full-stack proficiency across the data stack with deep knowledge of Python, SQL, and ETL methodologies.
Hands-on familiarity with big data technologies such as Trino, Kafka, and Iceberg.
A growth mindset characterized by curiosity and a proactive approach to solving complex problems.
Strong collaborative communication skills to work effectively across diverse technical teams.
Willingness to work primarily in-office in Prague.
