Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product development teams and stakeholders.
- Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes platforms based on Cluster API across bare-metal and cloud providers.
- Set up and maintain production and staging infrastructure.
- Design, deploy, and manage GitLab CI pipelines, GitOps workflows, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Respond to monitoring events through periodic day/night on-call duties.
- Optimize infrastructure maintenance and support processes.
- Participate in the design of complex IT systems.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, SRE, DevOps Engineer, or Platform Engineer.
- Deep understanding of Linux-like operating systems, including administration and troubleshooting.
- Practical Kubernetes experience.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or OCI cloud platforms and bare-metal infrastructure.
- Experience with Terraform, Pulumi, or Crossplane for Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with Flux or ArgoCD and GitOps practices.
- Experience setting up and maintaining GitLab or GitHub CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Ansible or Saltstack configuration management.
- Experience managing CDN, traffic, and domains with CloudFlare, Fastly, Akamai, AWS CloudFront, or Route53.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or similar monitoring systems.
- Practical experience managing PostgreSQL clusters with Patroni or CNPG.
- Practical experience managing Kafka, including Strimzi.
- English and Russian language proficiency at B1+ or Intermediate+ level.
- Nice-to-have experience with Cluster API, Sveltos, Fleet, Crossplane, Oracle OCI, distributed systems, and Bash, Python, or Go programming.
- Ability to leverage AI-powered tools and platforms to optimize workflows.
