Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and support ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, SecOps, GRC, and SPM.
- Build and customize Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Service Catalog, Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB modules.
- Develop integrations using REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, MID Server, scripted APIs, and import sets.
- Create and maintain CMDB data models, CI relationships, reconciliation rules, data certification, and governance controls.
- Configure ITOM capabilities including Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping, and operational intelligence.
- Implement SecOps and GRC solutions covering vulnerability response, security workflows, risk, controls, compliance, and audit support.
- Develop SPM workflows for demand, project, portfolio, resource, and strategic planning management.
- Write and maintain ServiceNow scripts, business rules, script includes, client scripts, UI policies, and Flow Designer automations.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and deliver defect fixes and enhancements.
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, testers, business users, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Support releases, UAT, deployments, documentation, and post-go-live hypercare.
- Ensure solutions follow ServiceNow best practices, security standards, and performance guidelines.
Requirements
- 5 to 8+ years of overall ServiceNow development experience.
- At least 3+ years of strong hands-on experience in enterprise ServiceNow implementations.
- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow customizations, platform development, ITSM, and core modules.
- Strong experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Server.
- Good understanding of ITOM, including Discovery, CMDB, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
- Strong CMDB knowledge covering CI lifecycle, relationships, governance, and data quality.
- Working knowledge of SecOps, Vulnerability Response, Security Operations workflows, GRC, risk, compliance, controls, and audit support.
- Exposure to SPM modules including demand, project, portfolio, and resource management.
- Strong JavaScript and ServiceNow server-side and client-side scripting skills.
- Experience with Flow Designer, Workflow, catalog development, and automation.
- Strong understanding of ITIL and enterprise service management concepts.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred certifications include ServiceNow CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM, CIS-ITOM, CIS-CSM, CIS-RC, or other relevant certifications.
- Preferred experience includes Agile/Scrum delivery, DevOps, source control, ATF, release management, enterprise implementations, performance tuning, security hardening, and platform governance.
- Experience with CMDB data certification and health management, ServiceNow architecture and instance governance, API troubleshooting, incident-driven support, operational excellence, and large transformation programs is preferred.
