Base Salary
$172k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver highly scalable, available, and fault-tolerant production applications.
- Design system architecture, influence the product roadmap, and own new projects.
- Participate in coding, debugging, application lifecycle management, and performance optimization.
- Lead code and design reviews, technical projects, sprint planning, and work delegation.
- Mentor developers and establish engineering standards and practices.
- Build and deploy cloud-native, microservices-based applications and maintain environment configurations.
- Introduce automation and operability tools, monitor system health, and investigate production issues.
- Provide internal technical training and support and collaborate with designers, product owners, customers, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and troubleshoot critical incidents to minimize downtime.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of software development-related experience, or 8 years with an advanced degree.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Exceptional programming skills in an object-oriented language such as Java or C#, with proven full-stack development experience.
- Strong experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React and Angular, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with mobile application development using native SDKs or cross-platform technologies such as Flutter.
- Experience across software design, development, and deployment, including cloud-native infrastructure and microservices architecture.
- Advanced experience building and deploying applications using Kubernetes and OpenTelemetry.
- Experience planning and leading complex technical projects across multiple teams.
- Preferred master’s degree in engineering, technology, or a related field.
- Preferred experience with SaaS offerings in the technology and financial industries and applications deployed on Amazon Web Services.
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and communicate effectively across functions.
