Responsibilities
- Lead applications systems analysis and programming activities for robust, high-performance, large-scale applications.
- Partner with management teams to integrate functions, define system enhancements, and deploy new products and process improvements.
- Resolve high-impact problems through detailed evaluation of business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
- Design applications according to the overall architecture blueprint and establish coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards.
- Develop integrated solutions addressing scalability, high availability, consistency, and other non-functional requirements.
- Analyze complex issues, develop innovative solutions, and advise or coach mid-level developers and analysts.
- Allocate work as necessary and assess, manage, and report technology, control, compliance, and business risks.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in applications development or systems analysis.
- Extensive experience with systems analysis and software application programming.
- Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, React JS, REST APIs, multithreading, and Java/J2EE backend technologies.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
- Strong experience architecting integrated solutions with scalability, high availability, and consistency requirements.
- Strong experience developing APIs and web services using REST and SOAP.
- Experience with relational databases such as MSSQL or Oracle, or NoSQL platforms.
- Ability and willingness to work across multiple tools, frameworks, and technology stacks.
- Understanding of cloud platforms and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, including Docker deployment.
- Knowledge of enterprise design patterns and SOLID principles.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Cucumber, Jasmine, or Mocha.
- Preferred experience with high-speed messaging platforms such as Kafka.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery technologies and tools.
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s or university degree or equivalent experience required; master’s degree preferred.
