Base Salary
$80k - $125k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of complex, end-to-end Java and Spring Boot microservices solutions.
- Architect cloud-native and hybrid solutions on Azure, including containerized platforms using Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Define and govern RESTful API and Kafka event-driven integration patterns for scalability, performance, security, and reliability.
- Own and evolve target-state architecture and roadmaps across legacy, modern, and hybrid environments.
- Serve as a technical authority and trusted advisor, influencing engineering teams and senior stakeholders on architecture decisions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience designing and delivering microservices-based architectures using Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong Azure cloud architecture experience with hands-on Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service experience.
- Expertise in API-first RESTful services, including governance, versioning, and lifecycle management, and Kafka-based event-driven architecture.
- Advanced proficiency in business analysis, business capability modeling, and Domain-Driven Design applied to solution architecture.
- Experience as a senior architect or Tech Lead designing scalable, resilient distributed systems and enterprise data integration patterns.
- Ability to make and defend architecture decisions at component, system, and portfolio levels and influence senior stakeholders.
- Preferred qualifications include financial services or regulated-environment experience, payment or card transaction expertise, large-scale multi-business-unit delivery experience, and the ability to mentor engineering and architecture teams.
