Responsibilities
- Architect the overall vision and strategy for analytics and data applications in alignment with business goals and future scalability.
- Lead the architecture and development of advanced analytics tools, data applications, user interfaces, and agentic data-visualization experiences.
- Establish best practices for data transport, microservice orchestration, platform monitoring, and alerting.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams and guide architectural, code-quality, and performance decisions.
- Evaluate and implement technologies across big data, cloud computing, AI/ML, and API development.
- Ensure data security and governance across AWS regions and data assets.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Requirements
- 15+ years of software engineering experience in an enterprise-grade environment, including significant leadership and architectural responsibilities.
- Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- Extensive experience designing and developing API-driven services using REST and GraphQL, along with knowledge graphs and microservice architectures.
- Strong understanding and application of AI/ML techniques for data classification, harmonization, and predictive analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide engineering teams and provide technical and strategic direction.
- Strong analytical problem-solving, root cause analysis, and optimization skills across structured and unstructured data processes.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills for explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
