Base Salary
$106k - $166k/yr
Responsibilities
- Align business strategy with software solutions.
- Propose, design, and code software solutions for complex business needs.
- Provide technical leadership, architectural direction, and guidance to engineering colleagues.
- Lead complex problem solving across software initiatives.
- Oversee required technical and procedural documentation.
- Apply modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
- Mentor engineering teams and influence engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
- Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems.
- Expertise in one or more core programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or Go.
- Strong knowledge of system architecture, APIs, databases, and data modeling.
- Experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and modern engineering practices.
- Comparable combinations of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree.
