Responsibilities
- Create and lead the technical design and development of software solutions.
- Propose and design software solutions for complex business needs and prepare technical and procedural documentation.
- Facilitate complex problem resolution.
- Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues.
- Review coding, testing, and software documentation.
- Apply modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
Requirements
- Demonstrate strong hands-on design and development experience with Java and Spring.
- Have experience with Finastra Fusion Global PAYplus (GPP); banking or payments experience is preferred.
- Understand software architecture and microservices.
- Have experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes.
- Design and develop solutions using Kafka, MQ, and REST APIs.
- Have database design and optimization experience with MongoDB and Oracle Database.
- Have experience with Jenkins build and deployment processes.
- JavaScript and Angular experience is a plus.
- Have experience using Eclipse, IntelliJ, Gradle, and Maven.
- ElasticSearch and Redis experience is a plus.
- Demonstrate knowledge of performance tuning, application security, and scalability best practices.
- Typically have a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant or direct industry experience; comparable education, certifications, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
