Base Salary
$182k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Scale data processing and storage from terabytes to petabytes and beyond.
- Build and maintain bidirectional, real-time integrations with dozens of EHRs, scaling to hundreds or thousands of integrations.
- Improve core systems to support 100x growth in practices, patients, and developers.
- Own cross-functional projects from technical design and decomposition through launch and rollout.
- Partner with engineering leaders and product managers to generate, prioritize, and deliver engineering goals.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience focused on scalable backend systems and platforms.
- Deep experience with storage systems, cloud-native services, open source projects, the Kubernetes ecosystem, AWS, and PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of common DevOps tools and practices.
- Strong understanding of quality and security engineering principles.
- Technical vision, systems-level thinking, and leadership skills to improve software and engineering practices.
- Ability to understand distributed-system components, interactions, customer journeys, and data flows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with business stakeholders and engineering teams.
