Base Salary
$185k - $218k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop new platform capabilities and product offerings from design through release.
- Balance speed to market with long-term growth by designing for the future while building for today.
- Collaborate with Product to define initiatives and construct a roadmap that meets business needs.
- Ensure system availability by participating in on-call rotation and addressing support tickets.
- Mentor engineers within the team and across the organization.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the engineering organization through discussions and showcases.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend software development experience with proficiency in Ruby, Golang, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field preferred.
- Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including databases, data structures, and REST APIs.
- Experience with domain modeling, object design, and system architecture.
- Proven track record of writing clear, tested, and concise code.
- Ability to set expectations and inform decisions through project estimates.
- Strong sense of ownership across all aspects of the development lifecycle.
- Desire to collaborate and share knowledge with peers.
