Base Salary
$197k - $295k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design systems that help users discover, create, and interact with virtual marketplace products.
- Architect scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant distributed systems and cloud-based solutions.
- Lead projects from scoping through experimentation and launch, making key technical decisions.
- Run and analyze A/B tests.
- Partner with product managers, research scientists, and machine learning engineers.
- Optimize performance, minimize latency, and maximize throughput.
- Support marketplace discovery, avatar-style curation and generation pipelines, and new product categories and visual displays.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in one or more of C#, Go, Rust, Java, C++, or Python.
- Experience with REST, GRPC, API design patterns, and scalable containerized systems.
- Experience designing scalable distributed systems, including microservices, message queuing systems, distributed databases, and cloud-based solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Passion for understanding customer needs, optimizing performance, delivering exceptional user experiences, and learning new technologies.
