Base Salary
$180k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Identify and lead critical efforts involving scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Architect, design, and develop platform infrastructure projects supporting millions of connected devices.
- Influence platform features and direction through independent technical ideas.
- Provide technical support to engineers on the team.
- Coordinate with product and cross-functional teams to deliver key results.
- Mentor team members and establish engineering best practices across the organization.
Requirements
- A BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a similar technical field of study is required.
- Experience and enthusiasm for learning new infrastructure products, features, and strategies.
- Comfort working at the frontier of infrastructure and software development.
- Experience with Python and/or Go.
- Experience with a major cloud platform, preferably AWS.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Terraform experience is preferred.
- Kubernetes experience is preferred.
- Experience with a service mesh such as Istio is preferred.
