Base Salary
$197k - $243k/yr
Responsibilities
- Shape and improve Roblox’s PlayStation and Xbox experience.
- Translate ambiguous product ideas into well-scoped engineering plans with product, design, and data science partners.
- Lead complex client work end-to-end and deliver polished, performant experiences at scale.
- Raise code quality through rigorous reviews, mentorship, and high engineering standards.
- Drive platform-level investments that benefit the broader engineering organization.
- Partner with Xbox and PlayStation counterparts on feature parity and platform-specific excellence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and shipping client software.
- Strong proficiency in C++.
- Hands-on experience delivering software on console, desktop, or mobile platforms.
- Direct experience shipping on PlayStation or Xbox is highly valued.
- Experience with Lua or React is a plus.
- Ability to profile, trace, and diagnose complex problems across the full client stack, including console-specific hardware issues.
- Ability to use metrics, logging, and experimentation to evaluate feature health and player impact.
- Strong ownership, self-direction, communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
