$120k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Evaluate ARM-based Windows platforms with WECE program managers, OEMs, silicon vendors, and Microsoft engineering teams.
- Assess device architectures, BOMs, platform designs, and readiness criteria to identify quality, performance, reliability, and customer-experience risks.
- Develop expertise across silicon, audio, graphics, connectivity, power, and system architecture domains.
- Capture and codify technical learnings, historical exceptions, and best practices into repeatable assessment frameworks and decision models.
- Build tooling, analyzers, and intelligence platforms to scale device readiness evaluations.
- Generate data-driven insights that influence product selection and improve portfolio quality.
- Help define a long-term vision for scalable hardware readiness intelligence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Preferred experience with Windows platform technologies, kernel architecture, device drivers, or system-level software development.
- Preferred experience analyzing complex systems across hardware and software boundaries.
- Preferred experience building software, automation, analytics, or tooling for engineering problems.
- Preferred experience with ARM platforms, silicon enablement, firmware, device development, or hardware ecosystems.
- Preferred experience working with OEMs, ODMs, IHVs, or silicon vendors.
- Preferred ability to translate technical assessments into scalable engineering solutions or automation and collaborate across organizational boundaries.
