Base Salary
$198k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.
- Develop software services for trading and post-trading workflows across equity and options asset classes.
- Design and implement order state management components for trading platforms.
- Conduct scrums and handle deliverables.
Requirements
- A master's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Educational Technology, or a related field, plus three years of relevant experience; alternatively, a bachelor's degree in one of these fields plus five years of relevant experience.
- Three years of experience with Java, Linux, Unix, Kafka, MQ, SQL, JDBC, data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, relational databases, unit testing, performance testing, Git, Perl or shell scripting, MS SQL Server, Redis, NoSQL databases, Spring Framework, XML, distributed messaging, multi-threaded server-side development, RESTful and SOAP web services, and Apache Camel.
- One year of experience with JMS.
