Responsibilities
- Develop the operational SRE strategy and maintain the operational automation roadmap.
- Design and develop automation solutions for security operations.
- Partner with technology owners and subject-matter experts to optimize procedures and prepare them for automation.
- Participate in new technology deployments by defining and building automation to operationalize solutions.
- Support control testing and audits to demonstrate operational effectiveness.
- Consult with risk leads to incorporate risk and controls into operational solutions.
- Develop KPIs for operational oversight and effectiveness.
- Manage tasks and deadlines in an Agile environment using Jira.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in information security, software engineering, SRE, DevOps, and infrastructure.
- 5+ years focused on SRE or reliability-focused work.
- 3–5 years of experience managing technology compliance and risk.
- Experience with endpoint, network, and cloud security technologies.
- Deep hands-on experience with public and private cloud networking, compute, storage, IAM, and event-driven services.
- Expert-level Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and multi-cluster management experience.
- Extensive experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of machine learning and AI frameworks and experience building scalable, robust, and fault-tolerant processes.
- Preferred qualifications include CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, Lean Six Sigma, or AWS/Azure Solutions Architect credentials.
- Preferred experience includes working with regulators and auditors, operating in regulated financial services, implementing AI security controls, applying AI governance and responsible AI practices, influencing technical direction, and contributing to open-source projects, publications, or conferences.
