Responsibilities

  • Design and develop test strategies, test plans, automated tests, and QA methodologies.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, project managers, and component teams to define software quality requirements and testing approaches.
  • Define release plans and assess software readiness for production deployment.
  • Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios for functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
  • Identify, document, and analyze defects and work with development teams on resolution and product-quality improvements.
  • Define and report quality metrics and test-effectiveness measures.
  • Provide technical guidance, lead QA projects and initiatives, and coordinate work across test teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of quality assurance engineering experience.
  • Experience with automation testing, manual testing, scripting or coding, test frameworks, test tools, and QA project leadership.
  • Experience serving as a QA lead on medium- to large-sized projects.
  • Knowledge of QA methodologies and tools, with demonstrated QAE experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Preferred: experience with an automated test framework such as Selenium or Appium.
  • Preferred: knowledge of a modern object-oriented programming language such as C++, Java, or Objective-C.
  • Preferred: experience creating test requirements, plans, designs, strategies, execution processes, and quality metrics.
  • Preferred: experience leading or coordinating work for other test teams.
