Responsibilities
- Develop test strategies based on business requirements, solution designs, and functional specifications.
- Design and execute functional and non-functional test cases.
- Create and manage test data for project delivery.
- Use test management tools to maintain test scripts, execute test plans, and report progress.
- Identify, track, investigate, and verify software defects with development teams.
- Support the full product lifecycle through continuous quality improvements and testing excellence.
- Participate in Agile development activities and cross-functional initiatives.
- Mentor team members on testing best practices, quality processes, and risk reduction techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum five years of experience in quality assurance, engineering, or power systems-related environments.
- Knowledge of EMS, GMS, SCADA systems, and utility operations, including AGC, Economic Dispatch, Reserve Management, or Generation Planning.
- Understanding of quality assurance methodologies, testing processes, and software lifecycle management.
- Experience with Jira/Zephyr Scale or Azure DevOps is an advantage.
- Authorization to work in the United States without future sponsorship requirements.
