Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, maintainable, high-performing Fintech Risk Platform software using React, Java, and Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, prioritize features, and improve risk and compliance capabilities.
- Develop AI-enhanced applications using GenAI concepts and frameworks.
- Identify and mitigate risks across the Fintech ecosystem through compliance measures and risk mitigation strategies.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers.
- Apply statistical models, AI/ML techniques, and risk analytics to support platform decision-making and feature development.
- Define metrics and implement executive dashboards with product managers to monitor platform performance.
- Build scalable, automated data pipelines and risk data models.
- Conduct A/B testing and experimentation and interpret results to improve platform efficiency.
- Track developments in Fintech and AI technologies and identify opportunities for innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 6 years of professional experience designing and developing software solutions.
- Expertise with React and with Java and Spring Boot back-end development.
- Hands-on experience with GenAI concepts and frameworks such as OpenAI, GPT-3/4, SageMaker, and Bedrock.
- Prior experience in risk and compliance domains within financial platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Fintech concepts, payment systems, risk analytics, and compliance strategies.
- Advanced proficiency with cloud solutions, particularly AWS, and familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, data storytelling, collaboration, and ambiguity-management abilities.
