Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using Azure technologies.
- Build scalable and highly available data solutions using Azure Cosmos DB and MongoDB.
- Develop Kafka producers and consumers and integrate distributed applications using Kafka messaging patterns.
- Optimize Cosmos DB performance through partitioning, indexing, and query optimization.
- Develop and deploy APIs and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, or .NET.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production systems.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, DevOps engineers, and other cross-functional Agile teams.
- Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices.
- Translate business needs into working software across the full software life cycle.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cosmos DB.
- Strong experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven systems.
- Practical experience designing and implementing event-driven architectures.
- Experience developing and deploying applications using Azure Functions and/or Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Experience with Git and Azure DevOps for source control, collaboration, and DevOps workflows.
- Experience with logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting in production environments.
- Experience working in Retail, E-commerce, or Order Management Systems.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams with good communication skills.
