Base Salary
$188k - $234k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop modules, tools, dashboards, and services that improve engineering quality and operational efficiency.
- Develop modules and REST-based API services using Java, Python, SQL, and applicable frameworks.
- Write automated tests and maintain high-quality applications and services.
- Collaborate with Walmart engineering teams to provide engineering and operational excellence capabilities.
- Automate deployment of workloads to production in public cloud environments using continuous integration and continuous deployment tools and frameworks.
- Use logging, data pipelining, observability, and monitoring tools to understand error trends and produce time-series data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area plus three years of software engineering experience, or a master’s degree or equivalent plus one year of experience.
- Experience with object-oriented programming using Java and Python.
- Experience with architecture, tools, and deployments in GCP, Azure, and AWS.
- Experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Cassandra, Cosmos DB, MongoDB, Oracle, or MySQL.
- Experience developing and maintaining test suites using JUnit.
- Experience with Apache Kafka for data pipelining.
- Experience with Splunk for log-centric analysis and time-series data.
- Experience with Dynatrace and AppDynamics for observability and monitoring.
