Base Salary
$106k - $196k/yr
Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, monitor, and optimize ServiceNow across development, test, and production environments.
- Plan and execute upgrades, patches, instance cloning, releases, maintenance, and disaster recovery activities.
- Manage users, groups, roles, access controls, system properties, certificates, MID Servers, and platform components.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow solutions and automation using JavaScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Flow Designer, REST APIs, and SOAP integrations.
- Troubleshoot platform health, performance, incidents, and complex technical issues, including root-cause analysis.
- Partner with infrastructure, cloud, networking, cybersecurity, application, and business teams on enterprise integrations and platform initiatives.
- Create technical documentation, architecture standards, operational procedures, troubleshooting guides, and runbooks.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance on ServiceNow administration, development, automation, and engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or Engineering is required, with an advanced degree preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience in IT, software engineering, platform engineering, or a related technology discipline is required.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience administering and/or engineering the ServiceNow platform is required.
- Strong experience with ServiceNow administration, configuration, troubleshooting, operational support, upgrades, patches, cloning, releases, and instance management.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, ServiceNow development components, REST and SOAP integrations, APIs, and MID Servers.
- Experience with ITSM processes and enterprise technology environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- ServiceNow CSA, CAD, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
- Experience with additional ServiceNow modules, IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, advanced automation, cloud platforms, enterprise infrastructure, platform governance, and ServiceNow architecture is preferred.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, source control, automated deployment practices, and mentoring other engineers or administrators is preferred.
