Base Salary
$121k - $182k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable applications for margin calculation services and reporting.
- Analyze complex technical and business challenges and recommend programming solutions.
- Guide software development lifecycle activities from analysis and design through construction, testing, and implementation.
- Provide application support to business users and consult with users, clients, and technology groups.
- Translate business requirements into well-architected technical solutions with project managers and stakeholders.
- Improve system scalability, performance, functionality, and robustness through application development and post-implementation analysis.
- Assess and manage technical risks while supporting regulatory compliance, control procedures, and transparent reporting.
- Operate independently and drive critical initiatives through successful completion.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4–6 years of progressive experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
- Strong Java experience, including Java Core, collections, concurrency, and streams.
- Experience with Spring, Hibernate, Jackson, JAX-RS, JPA, JAXB, RESTful APIs, SQL, Linux, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, design patterns, microservices, distributed caches, messaging, testing, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Spring Core, Batch, Integration, MVC, Boot, and Data; JMS; Kafka; JUnit; Mockito; and PowerMock.
- Experience with parallel processing, multithreading, locking and synchronization, job scheduling, application deployment, and source control.
- Working knowledge of project management techniques, agile methodologies, and software development practices.
- Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, collaboration, adaptability, and deadline-management skills.
- Experience or interest in financial services is desirable; Apache GemFire experience is a plus.

- Base salary range of $121,200.00–$181,800.00, with potential additional incentive and retention awards.
