Responsibilities
- Lead technical evaluations through architectural presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and technical evangelism.
- Analyze functional and non-functional requirements and design scalable solutions on the OutSystems platform.
- Partner with Account Executives on proposals, RFPs, and RFIs aligned with customer business objectives.
- Evaluate customer IT infrastructure and enterprise architecture to demonstrate OutSystems integration and strategic fit.
- Design and execute Proofs of Concept with the OutSystems Solution Delivery team.
- Develop partner enablement programs and provide alliance partners with technical training, architectural guidance, and delivery resources.
- Act as the primary technical liaison between local customers, partners, and global Product and Support engineering teams.
- Represent OutSystems Japan at industry events, developer communities, and partner seminars, and localize technical announcements for Japan.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in Pre-Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, or Senior Technical Consulting within an enterprise software company.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of modern web and mobile application development, database concepts, data modeling, enterprise integration patterns, and cloud architectures.
- Familiarity with Agile software engineering methodologies.
- Excellent ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, value-driven business terms for technical and executive audiences.
- Strong understanding of modern technical architectures, IT market trends, competitive product positioning, and business objectives.
- Native or bilingual Japanese fluency with professional written and verbal communication and business etiquette; business-level written and verbal English.
- Willingness to travel domestically within Japan for key client engagements.
