Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build a high-performance browser-based creative editor with multi-layer canvas compositing, real-time image manipulation, and GPU-accelerated rendering.
- Architect and optimize rendering pipelines for complex layer stacks, high-resolution assets, blend modes, masking, and non-destructive editing.
- Integrate AI/ML model outputs into interactive user interface workflows for generating, editing, and composing visual content.
- Implement production file export, including PSD export with preserved layer structure, and asset management features.
- Collaborate with backend engineers, applied scientists, and product managers to deliver the product roadmap and solve customer problems.
- Own frontend platform performance, reliability, and quality through profiling, measurement, and optimization.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and architectural decisions throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of non-internship professional frontend, web, or mobile software development experience using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- At least 1 year of experience with computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React.
- Preferred: at least 1 year of experience with agile software development methodology.
- Preferred: experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.
