Base Salary
$180k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze business applications and functional specifications and develop alternative system solutions.
- Develop, test, debug, enhance, and maintain software applications.
- Provide backend integration support and resolve software problems, customer complaints, and enhancement requests.
- Create block diagrams, logic flow charts, project schedules, timelines, and software version-control baseline documentation.
- Provide technical direction to programmers and coordinate across internal groups, external offices, and customer stakeholders.
- Coordinate with customer security elements on project certification and accreditation.
- Develop technical reports and briefings, advise on costs and design changes, and train system users.
- Research, test, and verify the operation of software patches and fixes.
- Design and deliver web-based email client and server applications and interface web applications with remote relational databases when needed.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph is required, preferably from the customer.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, with additional experience accepted in lieu of the degree.
- At least 9 years of experience in software development, backend integration support, and systems development.
- Experience with Windows PowerShell, Puppet, C2S, SQL, Ruby, Java, C++, and .NET software languages and supporting libraries.
- Knowledge of communications and email protocol API implementation, virtual administration, and secure virtual private networking.
- Strong oral and written communication, troubleshooting, multitasking, and customer-stakeholder coordination skills.
- Prior experience supporting Intelligence Community organizations and knowledge of the customer's software development lifecycle and operations-and-maintenance processes.
- Preferred knowledge of the customer's official messaging system, PKI key and LDAP implementation, business process and workflow integration, and remote relational database infrastructure.
