Responsibilities
- Provide application and infrastructure support in cloud environments and troubleshoot system problems, test cases, and job failures within SLA.
- Perform test automation, quality checks, post-deployment validation, and maintenance of automation scripts.
- Develop testing suites, automated tools, frameworks, and utilities for validation, verification, and end-to-end functional testing.
- Create test plans, conditions, cases, and test data in collaboration with stakeholders, developers, business teams, and analysts.
- Contribute to SRE and DevOps practices, automation, CI/CD, monitoring, and recommendations for tooling.
- Work shifts and provide on-call support during weekends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent certifications.
- 2 to 4 years of testing and SRE experience.
- Experience with a scripting language such as PowerShell, Bash, Perl, Python, or Ruby.
- Strong knowledge of Selenium, MS Test, API testing tools, and integration testing tools.
- Hands-on experience with a cloud platform and understanding of Microsoft and Red Hat Linux server technologies.
- Ability to bridge Development and Production Support teams.
- Preferred experience includes Windows server monitoring and automation, multiple operating system management, Jenkins, Ansible, post-deployment validation, GCP monitoring and cost optimization, and CI/CD practices.
