Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver high-performance, intuitive, responsive UI experiences for the Identity Now cloud SaaS product using Angular and TypeScript.
- Map UI architecture, own incident response workflows, resolve customer UI bugs, and use application telemetry to identify UI improvements.
- Build and ship major Angular/TypeScript components and collaborate with UX and microservices teams on interaction designs and scalable REST API contracts.
- Increase automated UI test coverage using frameworks such as Cypress, Jest, or Karma and prevent critical UI regressions.
- Lead frontend architecture planning, mentor mid-level and junior engineers, and partner with Product Management on estimates and quarterly engineering work.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software development experience creating fast, scalable, cross-browser-compatible web UIs.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, JSON, REST, AJAX, XML, and HTTP.
- Production experience with a major JavaScript framework and tooling; Angular is highly preferred, with React, ExtJS, Webpack, and NodeJS also valued.
- Experience with automated UI testing frameworks such as Cypress, Jest, Karma, Protractor, Selenium, or Jasmine.
- Understanding of backend architecture and microservices systems, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A Computer Science degree or equivalent relevant hands-on work experience is preferred.
- Advanced Angular ecosystem experience with Angular, TypeScript, NgRx, NodeJS, and NestJS, AWS deployment familiarity, and experience with security applications or enterprise infrastructure products are bonus qualifications.
