Base Salary

$249k - $348k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain a unified Bazel-centric build system for C/C++ firmware, Go/Java/Python microservices, and containerized cloud workloads.
  • Implement hermetic and reproducible builds that generate identical artifacts across developer, build-agent, and CI environments.
  • Manage ARM and RISC-V cross-compilation toolchains and Docker/OCI runtime environments.
  • Design and scale concurrent containerized CI/CD pipelines incorporating unit tests, integration tests, and Hardware-in-the-Loop simulations.
  • Automate Kubernetes and Docker-based cloud software containerization, versioning, and microservice deployment strategies.
  • Define multi-target release lifecycles and automate signed, secure, verifiable OTA hardware images and cloud container images.
  • Manage the monorepo structure and dependency graph across firmware, middleware, and cloud services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in build/release engineering, DevOps, or SRE focused on both embedded/firmware and distributed cloud services.
  • Expert-level Bazel proficiency and extensive experience with CMake, Ninja, Gradle, Maven, or Go Modules.
  • Deep knowledge of Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Preferred: experience managing large-scale monorepos.
  • Preferred: proficiency with embedded Linux, Yocto, and Buildroot.
  • Preferred: experience with code signing, SBOM generation, and automated vulnerability scanning.
  • Preferred: familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, AWS, or Azure.
  • Preferred: background in real-time or safety-critical software release cycles.
