Base Salary
$159k - $327k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the Google Workspace platform end-to-end, acting as the primary technical authority.
- Design and evolve the collaboration architecture, defining standards and best practices.
- Lead incident response and complex troubleshooting for high-impact Workspace issues.
- Build automation and integrations using scripting and Google Workspace APIs/SDKs.
- Integrate Google Workspace with identity, security, and IT workflows.
- Use AI to enhance engineering and operations work.
- Lead cross-functional projects from design through rollout.
- Mentor and uplevel other engineers by reviewing designs and implementations.
- Represent the team with stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in IT systems or collaboration/platform engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- Deep Google Workspace experience in large or complex environments.
- Strong systems design and troubleshooting skills.
- Solid scripting and automation skills, with experience in Google Workspace APIs/SDKs.
- Experience implementing security, privacy, and compliance controls.
- Experience integrating Google Workspace with identity and ITSM systems.
- Proven use of AI tools to enhance engineering or operations work.
- Track record of leading large, complex initiatives.
- Ability to mentor engineers and partner effectively with stakeholders.
