Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize software solutions and applications.
- Analyze and solve software engineering problems using scientific methods and sound engineering practices.
- Work autonomously on complex software design and development activities with minimal supervision.
- Lead software design and development activities and help drive the team toward technical and commercial goals.
- Assess project issues, formulate innovative solutions, and respond proactively to internal and external client needs.
- Collaborate with software engineers and stakeholders while explaining difficult concepts to varied audiences.
- Build software engineering expertise and contribute to technical and administrative work within the engineering team.
- Monitor or manage costs for a specific project or work area when required.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of programming concepts, software design, and software development principles.
- Ability to work independently and exercise original thought and judgment in a complex environment.
- Ability to lead software design and development activities and motivate other team members.
- Ability to understand client needs, provide advice proactively, and formulate solutions to project issues.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to different audiences and build relationships beyond the immediate team.
