Responsibilities

Write, review, and maintain production-grade software while setting a high technical standard.
Design and evolve scalable, resilient, and maintainable microservices and distributed systems.
Act as the technical authority for the engineering area and help colleagues solve complex technical problems.
Conduct code reviews and share knowledge across the engineering team.
Lead high-impact projects from concept through delivery and make pragmatic architecture decisions.
Collaborate with Product, QA, Team Leads, and wider stakeholders to align technical execution with business goals.
Identify and mitigate technical risks and champion engineering best practices, automation, and AI tools.

Extensive commercial experience with C# and .NET.
Strong experience designing and building microservices and distributed systems.
Experience with RESTful API design and Azure cloud development.
Deep familiarity with modern software development practices and scalable system architecture.
Experience working cross-functionally with Product, QA, and other stakeholders.
A pragmatic approach to shipping MVPs and iterating with purpose.
Ability to build strong domain knowledge and become a trusted technical voice across the business.
React or full-stack experience is a plus.
