Responsibilities
- Understand requirements and design software solutions based on client and product needs.
- Develop, modify, debug, and optimize software programs and modules.
- Automate software validation by designing and executing test cases and usage scenarios.
- Analyze system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend performance or availability improvements.
- Prepare code documentation, flowcharts, layouts, reports, and project status updates.
- Coordinate with project teams, functional teams, systems analysts, engineering staff, and clients.
- Support continuous integration, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and quality assurance activities.
- Capture client requirements and feedback and provide timely responses to customer requests.
- Maintain accurate MIS and project reporting and support on-time delivery.
- Participate in continuing education, programming-language training, and skill-upgradation certifications.
Requirements
- Experience or capability in software design, coding, testing, debugging, maintenance, and software-development lifecycle activities is required by the role responsibilities.
- Ability to analyze requirements, system flows, data usage, work processes, and software feasibility.
- Ability to create and execute test cases, identify defects, and ensure quality and error-free code.
- Ability to prepare technical documentation, reports, diagrams, and clear code comments.
- Ability to collaborate with clients, project managers, analysts, engineering staff, and other functional teams.
- Strong customer focus, communication, issue tracking, and status-reporting capabilities.
- Willingness to learn new programming languages, follow best practices, and complete assigned certifications.
