Responsibilities
- Develop reliable, intuitive features for task management, patient flow, patient intake, appointment proposals, and telesecretaryship workflows.
- Support coordination of the patient journey from arrival through visit completion, including waiting-room status, care steps, walk-ins, delays, patient movement, and checkout.
- Design solutions that reduce manual work involved in creating, sorting, remembering, relaunching, and completing tasks.
- Work across backend and frontend technologies to deliver high-quality user-facing experiences.
- Build performant, reliable, and observable services for Doctolib's growing user base and complex healthcare workflows.
- Apply privacy, data protection, and security practices when handling personal and health-related information.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Data Protection, Security, and other engineering teams.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a full-stack Software Engineer, ideally on user-facing products.
- Experience building scalable, robust, and reliable systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive personal and health-related data, including PHI and PII, with strong privacy, data protection, and security practices.
- Experience collaborating with Product, Design, Security, and other engineering teams.
- User-first mindset and interest in solving real customer problems.
- Thoughtful use of AI tooling in the engineering workflow.
- Willingness to share knowledge, contribute to team discussions, and help others grow.
- Growth mindset and strong learning agility.
- Fluency in English and comfort working in a collaborative, discussion-oriented environment.
- Experience in healthcare, medical software, fintech, or another highly regulated domain is preferred.
