Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the target-state strategy and multi-year roadmap for the firm’s trading technology platform.
- Lead business analysis, solution design, implementation planning, and cross-functional decision-making for complex trading initiatives.
- Provide system and data architecture leadership across OMS, EMS, execution workflows, integration layers, and downstream trade processing.
- Establish architectural standards, canonical data models, real-time and event-driven integration patterns, and controls for trading data.
- Identify, govern, prototype, and selectively deliver practical AI-enabled capabilities for trading workflows and technology productivity.
- Contribute hands-on to design, development, troubleshooting, and implementation while guiding teams through complex technical challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, finance, mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in asset-management trading technology or closely related front-office technology environments.
- Deep knowledge of order management, execution management, allocations, trade lifecycle processing, trading controls, and related workflows.
- Proven experience developing technology strategy, architecture, and roadmaps in complex enterprise environments.
- Strong business analysis, solution design, delivery, system architecture, data architecture, canonical modeling, and integration experience.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to contribute directly to development and design efforts.
- Experience evaluating and applying AI/ML and generative AI in practical business and technology contexts.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, judgment, innovation, and influence skills.
- Familiarity with trading, portfolio management, compliance, and operations workflows, plus OMS/EMS platforms, broker connectivity, FIX, market data integration, and electronic trading.
- Preferred experience with APIs, event-driven architecture, distributed systems, cloud-based services, enterprise data platforms, data governance, lineage, metadata, controls, and AI-enabled prototypes or production capabilities.
- Software engineering practices including testing, CI/CD, observability, and production support are an asset.
