Base Salary
$81k - $137k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and modern front-end technologies.
- Develop and maintain secure, high-quality production software for business-critical applications.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and align development with engineering standards.
- Use authorized AI-assisted development tools to improve coding, testing, documentation, and delivery while validating quality, security, and compliance.
- Analyze large data sets to identify trends and issues and drive application and system improvements.
- Apply software development lifecycle practices, automation, resiliency, security, and delivery standards.
- Lead application modules, provide technical direction, mentor engineering teams, and contribute to technical communities of practice.
Requirements
- 8+ years of overall software engineering experience focused on Java-based enterprise application development.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and SQL for enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience building modern web applications with React and related front-end technologies.
- Experience with system design, application development, testing, debugging, maintenance, and operational stability in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of cloud-based application development and modern software architectures.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, application resiliency, and secure software development practices.
- Experience using AI-assisted software development tools and validating AI-generated outputs for quality, performance, and security.
- Strong communication, analytical, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Prior technical team leadership and software engineering mentorship experience is preferred.
- Experience with scalable, resilient, highly available applications, cloud-native solutions, software architecture patterns, or financial services and regulated industries is preferred.
