Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, scale, deliver, and lead an automated application evaluation framework for Android XR AppCompat.
- Build intelligent application crawlers using computer vision and LLMs.
- Develop AI vision models to detect spatial layout issues, rendering distortions, overlapping UI elements, and XR-specific input collision issues.
- Create automated regression detectors to verify that OS-level compatibility overrides resolve application issues without introducing regressions.
- Participate in the architecture and implementation of a unified automated application runner.
- Build scalable application execution frameworks for physical devices, emulators, and cloud-hosted environments.
- Partner with Android and Android XR platform teams to develop capabilities that improve application experiences in XR.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages, including Go, Java, Python, C, C++, C#, Objective-C, JavaScript, or Kotlin.
- Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of algorithm complexity.
- Strong software and systems troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
