Responsibilities
- Own complex agentic AI features and lead technical initiatives from design through implementation.
- Build production-grade agent systems using structured-data grounding, multi-agent orchestration, context and memory, tool use, and fast/deep response paths.
- Develop and maintain evaluation frameworks, monitoring, latency improvements, and reliability practices for production systems.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Backend, Data Science, Product, and Engineering teams on protocols and architecture.
- Sponsor new software and ML standards and mentor junior teammates on Python engineering practices, including typing, asynchronous programming, and testability.
- Communicate AI designs, trade-offs, and business outcomes to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience.
- Strong AI and ML engineering background with the ability to build reliable, scalable production systems.
- Experience balancing research exploration with simple, scalable, and production-ready solutions.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and cross-functional stakeholder skills.
- Ability to work hands-on in an ambiguous startup environment and take ownership beyond an immediate scope.
- Applicants must already have the legal right to work in Spain or Germany.
